Children's Faith Formation

COVID Guidelines:  Continue to check FlockNote for specific updates and details. Please know if and when  your child attends sessions at our parish,  we are taking every reasonable precaution to prevent the spread of the corona virus.  While no ordinary measures can prevent contagion 100%, we are confident that our arrival/dismissal procedures, the social distancing employed in classrooms/shared spaces and our cleaning protocols between sessions will go a long way toward making our parish a safe place to grow in the Faith.  Please be attentive to all communications and updates about our parish faith formation program so that, together, we can help our precious children be physically and spiritually healthy.

Children in Kindergarten through grade 8 meet each Sunday for faith formation from 10:00-10:50am.  These classes are provided to help parents with their children’s faith formation and religious education.  Classes begin September 20th and run through the school year. 

High Schoolers are encouraged to participate in Confirmation classes if they are not yet confirmed.  These will take place on Sundays during the regular faith formation time.  All other High Schoolers are invited to participate in Youth Group on Sundays from 12pm– 2pm in the Parish Life Center.

Please know that the majority of your child’s learning should be, and can only be, accomplished at home.  The forty-five minutes a week that your child spends with us is not sufficient time to teach the faith.  We act as a supplement for their at-home learning and living.  You, the parent, are the single most important teacher and resource in your child’s life, especially when it comes to handing on the Catholic tradition.
